Dose of Positivity

Sometimes in our life, we feel alone, demotivated, useless. As individual we feel worthless.. as if there is no meaning of our existence. For past some time i am feeling the same don't know about you but whenever i desperately want something to happen, it just wont .. and what makes you feel more miserable is at this time you will hear everyone else getting "THAT" thing which you want so badly.(Your mind can be really creative at this time and can cook up such -ve thoughts that you would never imagine otherwise.) It not only effects me but people around me as well. People who love me unconditionally... people who define me
So today as I start my day I have decided enough is enough.. my mind is tired.. I am tired... of carrying this negative baggae... i am letting myself free.. free of desperation... expectations
whatever has to happen will happen.. when things go beyond our control it is best to let them happen automatically... Everything happens for a reason.. keep faith in yourself and GOD
HE will either pull you out of it or push you into a new world of opportunities...

Here are some quotes that give me Dose of positivity to start my day with

First one has to be from Bhagvad Gita
- karm karo, phal ki icha mat karo... although i think of it as.. karam karo.. phal ki icha bhi karo bus chinta mat karo ;)

- Forget all the reasons why it wont work and believe the one reason why it will

- Just because it is not happening right now, doesnt mean it never will

- If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying

- The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one

- You can do anything, but not everything

- Sometimes bad things have to happen before good things can

- GOD is expert in bringing out GOOD from BAD, Trust HIM

Paneer Butter Masala

This is first time I am posting a recipe online.. Though it is not entirely my creation but I mixed and matched techniques of 2-3 recipes I found online to come up with this one

I am not very fond of paneer but my family is and they liked it very much.. Hope you like it too

Cooking Time : 20 mins(approx)
Serves 4-5 people

Ingredients :

4 medium size tomatoes
2 medium size onions
250 gms Paneer
1 packet Amul cream
1/2 tsp sabut dhaniya
2-3 Laung cloves
1-2 Dalchini strands
1-2 green chillies
1/4 tsp red chilli
1/4 tsp haldi
1/4 tsp pissa hua dhaniya
salt according to taste
4-5 tablesp butter

Method:

  • Heat 2-3 tablesp butter in a pan.
  • Add crushed laung, sabut dhaniya and dalchini. Cook for 2-3 mins
  • Add green chillies, diced tomatoes and Onions. Add all masale. Cook till the oil seperates
  • Cool the mixture and blend it in mixi
  • Heat remaining butter in pan. Add the mixture and bring it to boil
  • Sim the gas and add Amul cream to the mixture
  • Stir continously to avoid lump formation in cream. Keep on stirring until the mixture comes to boil
  • Add 1/2 cup water and bring it to boil
  • Add paneer chunks and simmer it for few mins
  • Garnish with Hara Dhaniya

* Cooking tomatoes and then making its paste gives the sabzi a rich and creamy texture
* Keep in mind the salt content of butter as well while adding salt to the sabzi

Hope you all like it.. Do share your experience
Any feedback is welcome

Socho Saath Kya Jayega

Hmmmmm…. Very interesting and thought provoking… isn’t it… to be honest this title is not my creation but I copied it from the backside of a truck…. only place where you can get the most interesting and amazing one liners of all times…

When I read this it stuck in my head like an arrow…. Socho saath kya jayega
Well socha jayein toh saath kuch nahi jayega… and if this is the case then why is that we all keep on cribbing about one thing or the other when we know nothing is permanent including ourselves. Don’t know about others but somehow I am very susceptible to cribbing. One can find me cribbing for one reason or the other or sometimes even without any reason. So it forced me to think that why on earth I am doing it???

And I thought…. And thought…. And thought………………………………….and to my disappointment I found no convincing reason to crib…  I mean yes there are problems in my life but this is not something very unusual happening… everybody has it… and even if lets say I have some of the most unthinkable kinda problems then also how cribbing is going to solve it!!!

Everyday we goto office, work like a dog (which is actually 10 times better than sitting idle) tolerate our bosses, their politics, come back home and then we have these news channel showing how politicians are eating up our country for their benefit(watching them makes me feel more miserable) and one feels that life is useless, aimless and purposeless.

And since we are so frustrated and God having pity on us gives an option of dying the very next moment, will you grab it????????
NO… is what most of us will answer (and in case it isn’t consult your best friend, he will make you feel better)

If right now you have 100 reasons to die the option of dying itself will give you 1000 reasons to live. So why is that we are not able to live life to its fullest….

And again I thought…. And thought…. And thought………………………………….
and this time I was able to figure out something… what I analyzed is that somewhere our thinking has become relative rather than absolute… we tend to measure our success or failure wrt to the others’ be it in professional matters or personal. Consciously or Unconsciously we tend to feel good or bad, happy or sad relatively.

Don’t do that… Please don’t do that and if you are lucky enough to be still away from this feeling then make sure you always are. This will not only destroy your peace of mind but it will ruin your character because you become what you do repeatedly and my friend when One day your life will flash before your eyes,  make sure its worth watching

There are certain things we cannot change in our lives for eg our bosses ;)
But certainly we can work upon things which are under our control. And our thinking our attitude is one of them

Just a small piece of advice from my side, tried and tested, it really works…
In a day of 24 hrs just spend 30 min doing an activity that you enjoyed the most as kid… it could be dancing, singing, playing, drawing… anything… just take out 30 min for yourself from your own life and you will notice a major change in your thinking

For those 30 min forget who you are… forget you are a professional working for an MNC or a housewife working round the clock for the family or a fresher in search for a job… just enjoy that activity as you used to when you were kid… trust me you will see your life changing for the better…

And one day when you will be dying you will see the satisfaction going with you that your lived your life the way it should have been… and Socha jayein toh yahi saath jaana chahiye
